Teens and young adults have distinct physical, psychological, and performance needs that are often overlooked by the current medical system. This is why we, as specially trained medical specialists and mothers of teens and young adults, created Teen2Twenty Centre: a unique service designed specifically for this age group.
At Teen2Twenty we focus on health, wellness and performance in teens and young adults. We strive to provide cutting-edge yet compassionate care in a homely environment in Rondebosch, Cape Town. The centre was founded by Professor Claudia Gray, an experienced and well-respected paediatrician with further specialty training in allergies, nutrition and lifestyle medicine, and a keen interest in the adolescent and the young adult population. Claudia also has a passion for health optimisation and preventative medicine, hence extends her general health-span assessments to adults too.
We are delighted to have been joined by Professor Debbie White, a renowned Paediatric Pulmonologist, and Lindsay Kemp, a seasoned physiotherapist, to expand the concept of health optimisation and to provide specialist chest/respiratory and sports performance care.
We deal with a wide range of acute and chronic medical, psychological, and sports performance issues as well as preventative health and health optimisation. Our target population is older children, teens and young adults, and we extend our metabolic and health screening services to adults too.
